PHY115   Professional Skills in Physics & Astronomy I   (10 credits)

Description

This module aims to equip the student with experimental, observational and problem solving skills that should allow them to progress to advanced practical and problem-solving work in Levels 2, 3 and 4. The module consists of a mixture of taught material, workshops and practical activities covering problem-solving and data analysis techniques, positional astronomy, basic experiments in physics or astrophysics, and presentation of results in oral and written form.
